Nobuyoshi Araki, born in 1940, is considered Japan’s most iconic and controversial photographer.  He coined the term “I-photography” to describe how the medium became a collection of his own feelings and experiences.  He is known for the depth and variety of his erotic images, most notably of his own wife.
