From the Soliloquy series of photographs she created in 1998. Echoing a common Renaissance format, Taylor Wood focuses on a central image, here inspired by Andrea Mantegna’s Dead Christ, and places a predella panel underneath. These smaller images are meant to illustrate the inner fantasy life of the figure in the main picture.
