I drove around with this on my car for a few weeks. It was best when I was stopped in traffic: people would look over, read with a look of consternation for a moment as they squinted to decipher through the dust. Then they’d smile. And look up at me. And I’d smile back. (F/lthyGorgeousTh/ngs)

Lina Scheynius captures tactile things well: skin, sunlight on skin, touchable skin. She’s good with skin. And tenderness.
This image because I just need to remember summer again.

Man Ray, Autumn (1929)
While I was working on my article for Man Ray’s 1929, I noticed that I couldn’t find his four scandalous photos anywhere on the internet. Man Ray’s known as an important innovator in the history of photography; he’s not so well-known for this stash of erotic mementos. Perhaps he should be. (All four can be found in the article.) - CV

Spencer Tunick is best known for his nude landscapes. American-born Tunick creates installations with often hundreds of nude volunteers. His superimposed human villages have been photographed from Montreal to Rome to Buenos Aires. His largest work featured 18,000 people in the Zocalo (main square) in Mexico City in 2007.

Rie Rasmussen is a woman of many talents. She is a filmmaker, photographer, painter, model and actress and has achieved acclaim in all: she had a film featured at Cannes, was the worldwide face of Gucci, published a book of her drawings and paintings called Grafiske Historier and was cast in a Luc Besson film.
And she likes the female nude. (F//lthyGorgeousTh/ngs)

Jimmyjane is launching a new series of vibrators, called Pleasure to the People. They are waterproof, rechargeable vibrators designed by friends Yves Béhar and Jimmyjane founder, Ethan Imboden. The first in the series is the Form 2.
I’m quite entranced by these objects, particularly by Jimmyjane, that looking nothing like conventional sex toys. Instead, they’re sleek, elegant, design coups. Gizmodo called Form 2 a ‘stealth millennium falcon.”
Form 2 features two vibrating ‘ears’ that can be placed outside of a woman’s labia. It’s an interesting design element, and not one I think I’ve ever seen before.
Can’t wait to try it out. (F/lthyGorgeousTh/ngs)
